Digital painting or "pixelism" allows the artist to simulate traditional art work in a very realistic manner as well as providing specialized functions that modify images exclusive to the medium. The coupling of these processes creates a new art form that gives the artist infinite possibilities.
The sun is one of the first things all children draw. I've gone back to that point of development and as an artist discovered that each rendering becomes a separate process of creative thought. Most of my pieces are an attempt to combine pixelism and animation to express a point of view about the sun. The sunburst allows me to explore all the facets we attribute to a source of life and energy.
